Welcome to Beautiful Wayne County!

State of the County
To fellow citizens of Wayne County, The Board of Commissioners, as a part of our commitment to accountability in our local government, is providing this Special Addition of a “State of the County” Report, and the Commissioners are proud to report that the “State of the County” is sound.

The first six months of this commission has been a very active and productive period. We passed a yearly budget, made some administrative changes, worked on road paving priorities and programs, made some much needed changes to some County Ordinances, and taken steps to plan for the future. We also have made it a priority to promote a working relationship among all commissioners and other local governmental entities for the betterment of all of Wayne County.
