GENERAL COURT COSTS
- General Civil - $75.00, plus applicable sheriff service fees of $25.00 per copy served by Sheriff on ALL cases except: 1) Family violence; 2) Abandoned motor vehicle actions; and 3) Incoming transfers. Se below for additional sums in condemnation and bond validation cases.
- Family Violence Petitions – No filing or sheriff’s service fees.
- Incoming Transfer - $50.00
- Subpoena - $1.00
- Adoption - $75.00
- Divorce - $75.00 plus applicable sheriff service fees of $25.00 per copy served by Sheriff
- Name Change - $75.00
- Trade Name - $8.00
- Certified Copies - $2.50 plus $.50 per page
- Court Costs on Child Support Cases - $75.00
- Court Costs in Criminal Cases (when payment ordered by Judge) - $120.00
Note: Motions or petitions requesting an order filed 30 or more days after judgment or dismissal require a new action filing cost. See above. Also, garnishments must be re-filed after 180 days and require a new action filing cost.
Appeals to Supreme Court And Court Of Appeal
- Preparation of record, per page - $1.50
- Transcript Filing and Submission, per transcript - $5.00
- Copying Transcript Where Required, per page - $5.00 plus $.10 per page
- Per Seal and Certification (in addition to all other costs ) - $3.00

Many of these fees are dictated by state law or include statutory surcharges that may change and cause a resulting change in the fee.
