Building permits are required in unincorporated areas of Wayne County. If your project is located inside city limits see them for their applicable codes

Download Building Permit form, fill it out and bring it in to Wayne County Tax Assessors office. Walnut Street @ Pine. Before you come in to get your permit, make sure you have the following:
