The Wayne County Sheriff’s office will be holding a sealed bid sale of seized vehicles. The following vehicles are for sale:

 

1984    Chevy Pick-up truck (after market engine) burgundy in color

 

1985    Chevy Caprice (after market tire, chrome rims and paint)

 

1987    Chevy Caprice blue in color

 

1991    Toyota Corolla red in color

 

1993    Jeep Grand Cherokee black in color

 

1996    Chevy Caprice (after market paint and suspension)

 

1993    Chevy Caprice classic white

 

Vehicles can be viewed on Saturday, February 20th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 23^rd and Wednesday, February 24^th from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the impound lot located at the Wayne County Jail, 1892 S. Macon Street, Jesup. There is a minimum bid requirement for each vehicle ( the Wayne County Sheriff's Office has the right to refuse any bid amount)  and amount can be obtained when vehicles are viewed. Sealed bids with description of vehicle are due by February 26, 2010 no later than 3:00 p.m. Sealed bids should be turned in to the County Administrator’s Office located at 341 East Walnut Street.
