NOTICE

FEMA has revised the flood maps for Wayne County, Jesup, Odum and Screven. Copies have been mailed out to the Wayne County, cities of Jesup, Odum and Screven and can be reviewed for comments.  A preliminary meeting has been set for Oct 20 for commissioners and community officials.  The propose of the meeting  will be to officially  present the findings contained in the flood Insurance study and flood insurance rate map and to solicit comments.  Representation from Screven, Odum, Jesup and Wayne County are ask to attend. A special time has been set aside for public comment at 12:00 to 1:30 PM after preliminary meeting.  Meeting will be held in the Wayne County Commissioners meeting room located at 341 E. Walnut St. Jesup, Ga.

   We have hard copies of preliminary maps on hand and have placed a copy of flood maps on our web site, we over laid new maps over old map to show new areas affected.  We also have a wall map in tag office to view.
